High-profile pair of agents join Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices properties in New York

Both will work from BHHS NY Properties head office at 590 Madison Avenue.

A licensed real estate broker in new York and Florida, John murtha is known for its unwavering dedication to its clients. More recently, an agent with Douglas elliman, he has long been praised for the meticulous research he puts into every listing, as well as the time he spends with buyers and sellers, working hard to understand their needs. After a long and successful career in new York radio, Murtha’s entrepreneurial instincts led him to become an aging business owner East hampton hostel, which he renovated and transformed into a premier property. Born in Springfield, Mass., Costigan graduated from Portsmouth Abbey School in Portsmouth, RI, and graduated from Georgetown University, the New York Institute of Finance and the New York School of Interior Design. Costigan then spent 15 years on Wall Street as vice president of Georgeson & Co., a large proxy and investor relations firm. As an investor relations consultant, he has worked with numerous Fortune 500 clients, giving him a good understanding of clients, their needs and how best to meet them. Costigan is currently a member of the Real Estate Board of new York (REBNY), the League of Arts Students of new York, and the New York Athletic Club.
